How does the LightSheer Diode Laser System work?

The diode laser is an extremely proficient machine made up of tiny diodes or semiconductors. They are assembled together to produce the laser beam.

Diode is able to penetrate deeper into the skin, allowing treatment on dark-skinned people.

The Laser is pulsed for a millisecond emitting a beam of light on the skin. The light energy passes harmlessly though the skin, but is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle and hair shaft. By absorbing this laser energy, the hair follicles are disabled, impairing  their ability to grow. Hair does not actively grow at the same time.

Additionally, the diode laser is able to treat a broader range of skin types than most other hair removal lasers. It is delicate enough for a woman's fine, sensitive skin and robust enough for a man's beard, back, or arms.

Who performs the Laser Hair Removal treatments?

Our team consists of professional licensed doctors only. They are who will operate our machines and escort you throughout your whole treatment plan.

    Are the results permanent?

Yes, laser hair removal is a permanent hair reduction method. It removes hair in stages, but the reduction achieved is permanent. Our laser machine has been cleared by the FDA (U.S.A.) for hair removal and permanent hair reduction on all skin types and tanned skin.

    Which areas can be treated?

Facial areas (lips, chin, cheeks, forehead), neck, armpits, around the nipples, bikini line. Large body areas such as full back, full chest, full legs, shoulders, arms...

How soon should  I expect to see results?

Results will noticeably show immediately, from your very first session. Hair growth rates significantly slow down and hairs become finer and weaker, making your skin smoother, and hair pores diminishing more and more after each session.

What are the risks or possible side effects involved?

With our machines and sufficient experience, we assure you that you will not experience any damage to your skin. All the possibilities are short term reactions such as redness which make to from a few minutes to hours to fade away.

How many treatments do I need to ensure complete hair removal?

Advanced Laser machines recommend from three to six treatments, yet there are a variety of factors which decide how many sessions you need, for example kind of skin or which part of the body. Laser affects hair follicles only when they are in the growth phase, more than one treatment may be necessary to disable hair follicles that subsequently enter the growth phase. That's why several sessions are needed to be performed.

How far apart are the treatments spaced?

Typically, our treatments are spaced from 6 weeks to 16 weeks, depending on the area of the body that is treated and the skin type.

  How long is the treatment?

Treatment time can vary based on the area. The upper lip takes only a few minutes while the back or legs can take up to an hour.

What happens to the skin after the treatment?

Within about 30 minutes of the treatment, the area may become pink or red. Clients describe it as a mild sunburn, and this reaction usually subsides within a day or so. Because the laser does not damage the skin, no bandages are necessary.

Can I choose to achieve  finer and less hair in some areas rather than a full removal?

Ofcourse you can. We can customize your treatment the way you like it to be. You can weaken and reduce your hair in any area while still leaving a certain amount.
