Mostly in the age range of 10 -30 yrs.
More common in males.
More common in mandible.
It mostly involves interrupted mandibular third molars, maxillary canines, maxillary third molars and mandibular second premolars are also involved.
On examining clinically it reveals a missing tooth or teeth and mostly a hard swelling which results in facial asymmetry.
Itís symptoms are pain or swelling.
